2nd day of Filming
Following on from day one we were much more prepared and knew what we had to do and our aims were to try and finish the filming so we had more time to edit and add in music. We began to film the rest of our scenes which were more complex because we had to use two people in the scene and it was difficult to make one person seem smaller but we manged to do it and it turned out well and we were pleased again with all the shots that day. We thought we had succeeded in our aims again and we all began to work harder to get the shots just how we wanted them to be. We also finished a day early with our filming which meant we had more on editing etc. which pleased us and meant we could get on with our work quicker and more efficiently. Overall, we were happy with our filming and thought we performed professionally on our second day of filming.

1st Day of Filming
We began our first day of filming and we were all apprehensive and could not wait to film. We began by looking at our storyboard and started with our first scene. At the beginning we began to find difficulty in making a real size person seem smaller than perceived, however we managed to get used to it and began to film some good footage. We also have no speech in our opening scene to our kids film so we had make sure our footage was powerful enough to get the message across along with music evidently. Our aims of the first day of filming were to get used to the camera equipment and film approximately 4 of scenes. We succeeded in our aims and progressed in to the next day of filming. Overall, we were all happy with our first day of filming and did not think it could of gone better.

Childrens Film Checklist
1. The idea of our film is based on a few adverts that have been on TV from Ariel and mini Nutritional bars, basically we will be showing the opening of the film where MiniMan struggles his way through his time at college, the film starts with flashbacks of how is being picked on, this is the introduction we will be showing for our opening.
2. We will not be having a script for this piece because we feel it creates more effectiveness, the music will help to enhance the acting skills and make the MiniMans situation feel more realistic and heartbreaking.
3. The Story Board will be uploaded at a later date.
4. The Costume For are Character Are the following:
Mini Man: Flat Cap
Glasses
Ugly pink woolen jumper
Tight Hot Pants
Other People that appear in the film will just be dressed as normal (jeans, T-shirts Ect.) to emphasis how Mini Man stands out for all the wrong reasons, this will be used to show some of the reasons he is bullied.
5. Our film will be located throughout college, which is a massive place for miniman
6. We will use a lot of shot types to make the film look very interesting including; Panning, close up, longshot, mid shot, extreme close up, tilt shot and establishing shot. This will give our film the more professional feel.

Childrens Film Guidelines and Understanding
What a Children's film is: Children’s films in their broadest terms are ‘films aimed for children as its audience - as opposed to a family film, no special effort is made to make the film attractive for other audiences.
In our film opening there will be, as expected, credits for all of the people involved with the film such as production company, casting etc. This will make the audience aware of the people taking part in the film and makes the film seem more professional and well structured.
The requirements of a U or PG certification states that if there is any reference to drugs, violence, horror, language, nudity. sex etc. that although some can be allowed, everything we film has to be toned down and not too explicit. We will be careful to not over do our opening with any of the above because we want to appeal to a universal audience.
The certificate of our film will be a PG because we will be using some scenes which may cause offence to some children because there is mild reference to some bullying of the miniMAN.
We believe we have chosen the right certificate for our film and our pleased with our rating.
